Little dinosaurs in the big dinosaur’s head suggest that he is thinking about them. The toy dinosaurs are deep green sauropods just like himself. He is thinking about the exact same dinosaurs as him because everything else is too alien—so the same species becomes a natural subject to care about.
Like people mostly thinking about other people or something related to humanity, one of the most ancient creatures on the planet is portrayed thinking about the same creatures as him.
Missing dinosaur space

Dinosaur thinking about other dinosaurs sculpture was a part of a bigger installation that started in an indoor gallery. These pictures show Missing dinosaur space. It was an empty bordered space the size of the big dinosaur. The area was sectioned off with green tape, a thread wall and a square shaped by toy dinosaurs hanging from the ceiling.
The dinosaur was supposed to be there, inside, but walked away to the green hill.
Missing dinosaur space was where the Dinosaur route started. It was a ceiling “path” made of many toy dinosaurs. If visitors followed the Dinosaur route on the ceilings, they would come to the outside area to find the big dinosaur there.
Basically thanks to the tiny dinosaurs of the Dinosaur route, it became clear where the missing dinosaur went. Here is the video of it:
